Heather DM Tackett

I live with my poodles, Louis and Little Bit, and my cat, Stoli, in Charleston, South Carolina. The poodle in the picture on the right, in the middle, was Sherry. She passed in August. 

Originally from southern California, I went up north to the great state of Washington to attain my Bachelor’s degree after high school. I graduated from Gonzaga University in 2006 with a degree in Print Journalism. I have a 20-year history working in both customer service and retail. I spent eight years after college as a professional portrait photographer but prefer to photograph at my leisure. Landscapes, seascapes, architecture and macro photography are my favorite subjects. In 2021 I looked to my alma mater for guidance and decided I needed to put my creativity to work and strengthen my leadership skills. By Fall of the same year, I began my Masters of Art in Communication and Leadership program with a focus in strategic and organizational communications. I am excited to announce that after six years as a bank teller, I am now the Team Member Experience coordinator for the bank.
